England, Day 3, Part 1

Mari arranged for us to take a Mad Max bus tour that started in Bath and took us to several destinations. The morning walk to the bus included a stop at the Royal Crescent, my favorite scene in the film Persuasion. The first stop on the tour was at Stonehenge... ah, Stongehenge. What were my preconceptions of this mystical place? It is definitely must more vast and larger in scale than I perceived. How were these rocks transported? In any case, we were able to get spectacular views, being one of the first groups to arrive. Mari and I then enjoyed a walk back to our tour bus via a walk through an beautiful meadow. We were able to enjoy the open space of this part of England.
