Visit with Gretchen

We had a fabulous extended weekend visit with Gretchen and we were able to fit in a lot of activities. First, we went to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands for a nature walk. Also, Anna and I attended an Amy Grant concert with her. Amy Grant is such a talent! We also went to Crystal Cove and one of our favorite places, Ruby's Shake Shack. Having visitors over makes me appreciate where we live all the more.

Mother's Day Weekend Part 2

Somehow Mama made us lunch while we celebrated Mother's Day, shouldn't it be the other way around? The weekend ended with some selfie stick photos and jumping ones too!

Mother's Day Weekend Part 1

We started off the Mother's Day weekend with a meal at Thai Nakorn, one of my favorite Thai restaurants. The kids especially loved the mango dessert with sticky rice. We also went to Sea World and enjoyed the sea creatures and shows. A round yet extremely aerodynamic sea lion really warmed our hearts!

OC Marathon 2015

The kids and I had fun as spectators with Katy and her kids while we cheered on our husbands during their marathon run. During the course we were able to cheer them on at three spots, with strategic mapping and planning. Steve and Kevin's goal was to qualify for Boston, in their case it would have been to run faster than 3:25 for the 26.2 mile distance. And they both did it! Happy dance at the end!
