Italy! April 10 Sunday - Dinner and Evening Stroll

Our rental apartment overlooked the grand massive wall of the Forum of Augustus, and the entrance to the accommodations is a grand stone exterior. Steve and I did Yelp research for food ideas back at the apartment, using the wifi, and would venture out for tasty eats. We would take a photo of a map, or directions to the destination. This would become our routine for the trip. For dinner, we had lasagna at La Casetta, a charming cafe with delightful owner. We also had our first Italian coffee there, tiny and delicious, 1 Euro a cup. Steve was made a special larger cup. Afterwards, we took a night walk for lit-up view of Trajans Forum, Caesar's Forum and the Forum of Augustus. The peaceful, beautiful stroll made for a wonderful nighttime activity, entertainment in and of itself, enjoying the remarkable views and learning more about the history of Rome.
