Hawaii - Day 2, Part 1 : Nut Factory, Coconut Island

We met up with Rachel, Gabbi, Olivia, Seth, and their cousins Josh and Eli and started off at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory. We sampled several kinds of macadamia nut flavors, and had ice cream and cheesecake overlooking the nature walk. I made sure to try the macadamia nut ice cream, yum! Afterwards we went to Coconut Island, which you reach by crossing a bridge. The sand is very coarse and the water is clear and warm. We saw our first of many banyan trees here.
