Corgi Beach Day

There's something about Corgis... their short stature, the calm demeanor, the perpetual smile... Even Anna and Sam have stated they will each own Corgis when they are older and have doggie play dates (no offense to our lovely Shiloh and Shadow of course). We went to Long Beach for Corgi Beach Day, the human visitors there far outnumbered the dogs, but wow, they sure put on a show. With their costumes, parade, and water play. You couldn't help but smile when you saw the face of a corgi. As we were leaving I asked the kids to take a photo with me at the Corgi flag, they were a bit embarrassed, to pose without a dog. A kind Corgi owner saw our dilemma and lent us their cutie for our picture! Highlight of the day!
