Palm Springs Getaway, Part 2

After checking out of the hotel, we headed to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway for a thrilling ride to 8,500+ feet elevation. I never thought of myself as afraid of heights but I could not look down! Steve and I had a nice hike along the trails. For lunch, since it was Valentine's Day, the main restaurant at the top, the Peaks, was very crowded and full of reservations. But due to great timing, we had were able to get a lovely table almost right away. Again, thanks to my mom and sister for holding down the fort back home so Steve and I could enjoy a wonderful time together.
