Italy! April 11 Monday - Tour of Rome, Part 4 and Dinner

These final tour photos were taken at St. Peter's Basilica. After parting with our group, we took the train back to our apartment and decided to go to Tavera Romana.

Taverna Romana was recommended by our rental apartment owner, a small neighborhood restaurant. There was quite a wait, as we did not have reservations, and the Italians do enjoy a leisurely social meal. The oxtail stew was delicious, as well as the house wine and homemade desserts.  What a great way to end our whirlwind time in Rome!
