Hawaii - Day 3, Part 1 : Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

It's nice waking up in the morning to have the beautiful outdoors of the guesthouse greet us: lots of tropical plants and flowers await. Rachel came by in the morning with her kids and we followed her over to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We had a quick sauna by standing in front of the steam vents. Then we walked over to view the Kilauea Caldera. You cannot get too close to this active volcano! Afterwards we took a walk into lava tubes, which are big tunnels that can be formed from cooled lava.
