More Mud Run Fun

Camp Pendleton Mud Run 2014

Nhi and I were able to organize the teachers' mud run with the support of our principal. We had lots of participation, including from spouses and friends from other schools. It was an amazing event supporting Camp Pendleton and our troops.

Park Hopper Day Two

Since Sam's school year ended early, we went to Disneyland and California Adventure for Day Two of our park-hopper passes. The highlight was the Radiator Springs Racers. The ride is so popular that the fast passes go quickly in the morning. Sam ended up looking cool as a cucumber in the ride photo. Later we met up with Yumi and met up with some characters along the way. I sure miss going to these parks regularly!

Carmina Burana

My mom and I saw an excellent concert at Segerstrom, Carmina Burana performed by the Pacific Symphony. Prior to the concert we went to Seasons 52, where every dish is less than 475 calories. Great music and food and company of course, perfect night!
