High Class Doggie Park

We brought Shiloh to the Newport Beach Dog Park, her first experience with us in an unleashed play place with other dogs. The dog park is a bit isolated so we had a feeling there would not be many dogs, and we were right. That was a good way to start. We were curious if Shiloh would dash off or stay near us once we took off her leash. She did have some interactions with her new "friends" but stuck by us.

Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day in San Diego. First, we went to Old Town where we had lunch and enjoyed looking in the shops and museums. Old Town really has a quaint yet eclectic feel there and I always enjoy spending time there. Then we headed down to the zoo where we saw my favorite animal, the giraffe. It's so nice having lots of activities to do around Southern California. I felt very special on this special day.

OC Half Marathon

My friend Nhi ran her first half marathon and I was with her every step of the way! Her husband is an avid marathoner so it was inevitable that Nhi would join in his hobby. We were able to meet up with some work colleagues before the race started. Way to go everyone!
